Wedding candle sets are generally used during the wedding ceremony. There is a main candle which has the wedding couple details which could include a header such as "Our Wedding Day", it could also include a photograph of the couple. In some cases the photograph can be substituted with a logo or a floral picture. Also on the main candle the wedding date is included and if required the place of the ceremony. The two smaller candles complement the main candle however they are generally used as a gift to each of the wedding couple's family. They generally include the name of the couple, the place of the ceremony and the date. Also one candle has the bride's family name and the other has the groom's family name.

The candle ceremony.

The candle ceremony is becoming more popular in modern day weddings. The main candle is placed in a predominate spot, for example on the church altar. The smaller candles are held by the respective family mother. At some point during the ceremony, the mother or family representative from both sides of the family come to the front of the ceremony, they then light their candle and place it on either side of the main candle and resume their places. The wedding couple then take a taper candle, and the bride lights the taper from her family candle and the groom from his family candle. The two then together light their main candle. This ceremony represents the unity of the two families to one.

However you may have whatever you choose. Two weeks' notice is required when ordering and if you would like to include a photograph, please ensure that it is of good quality and high resolution.
