Heath began his music career in his early childhood years, singing and performing in school plays, concerts and competitions and learned to play guitar at age 15 influenced by his father Paul. In 1996 he was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for high school band Orchidopexy. Finalists for state-wide rock challenges, they recorded their first track ‘Song in Orange’ for the album River Rock produced by Tim Partridge in 1997 as a collaborative project between secondary schools in the Derwent Education District. In 1998 Orchidopexy recorded their track ‘Time Goes’ for River Rock 2 produced by Tim Partridge. In 1999 the group dispersed and Heath became the lead singer for the band Orpheus, performing popular cover songs in popular bars and nightclubs, weddings and corporate functions until 2004 when the group dispersed. In 2007 the group Inertia was formed, performing in Hobart’s popular venues, weddings and corporate functions, the group finally ending in 2009 due to Heath travelling abroad. Now based in Sydney, Heath enjoys playing solo acoustic music and is available for Weddings, Engagements, private functions and corporate events.
