Bio

Grace Amos

Combining honeyed vocals with a finely honed talent for storytelling – singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Grace Amos creates music that resonates and connects.

Taking inspiration from a range of genres including indie, country and pop, Grace has carved out a unique niche for herself through her strong stage presence, skilfully arranged covers and original music.

Hailing from rural NSW and at just 18-years-old, Grace has already made her voice known both locally and internationally, having been selected to perform as part of the Australian tour for UK artist, HRVY, as well as being chosen as a finalist in the 2018 Discover Series (judged by artists including Amy Shark). Demonstrating her versatility and wide-ranging talents, Grace was also the recipient of the 2018 Maton Guitars Britton Morrison Scholarship, which granted her the opportunity to attend the prestigious CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth.

Grace has since continued to develop strong connections with the local music community – having performed at the 2020 Tamworth Country Music Festival and written and recorded original songs alongside Aria Award winning producer Matt Fell.

In 2021, her work with Matt saw the

launch of Grace’s debut single “Listen Real Closely”. Streamed almost 40,000 times and added to radio playlists throughout Australia, the compelling song hit a chord with Grace’s ever-growing fanbase.

As her final year of high school approached, Grace took to the stage at the Winter Wine Festival with Ziggy Alberts, made the Byron Bluesfest Busking competition shortlist and inspired support sets for fellow artists Fanny Lumsden and Mahalia Barnes. All while establishing an impressive social media presence with more than 25,000 Instagram followers.

Recently added to the MGM roster, Grace has already release two singles in 2022, an original song titled “Decide”, and a stripped back cover the Foo Fighters classic, “Everlong”.

Grace is working on her debut EP, various co-writing projects, and performing at the Valleyways music festival, and is in her first year studying at Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music where she will further her studies in song writing, performance and music production.
