The Hannah Rose Duo promises a performance of enchanting vocals and musicianship. From older ballads to modern-day dance-floor hits, both Hannah and Jared have a love of all music genres and eras.
Hannah Rose is a professional working musician and music teacher with a wealth of experience and musical aptitude under her belt. Hannah plays a multitude of instruments, having played violin since the age of 3 and then picking up the guitar in early highschool. She has been singing since as long as she can remember! One thing that sets Hannah Rose Duo apart from all the other guitar-only duos out there is Hannah’s incorporation of the violin (not to mention the duo’s experience and professionalism).
Jared King has a BA in Contemporary Music from The Australian Institute of Music and is a well-established Sydney-based musician. He performs regularly in some of Sydney’s most elite wedding and corporate bands such Baker Boys Band, Lily Road Band and Press Club Band. He has also done a significant amount of studio work and has recorded bass in popular recording studios like The Grove and Hercules Street Studios with popular Australian artists Christine Anu and Shannon Noll. Places in the Sydney that we perform at regularly include: Novotel Wollongong, Illawarra Yacht Club, The Illawarra Hotel, Dandaloo Hotel, Coopers Hotel Newtown, The Charles Hotel, Ryan’s Hotel Thirroul, Club Thirroul, Kurnell Rec Club, Northies Hotel Cronulla, Club Engadine, Club Menai, Tradies Gymea, Coogee Legion Club, The Log Cabin, Belfield Bowling Club, Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour, Riverstone-Schofields Memorial Club, Marsden Brewhouse, Dooley’s Regent St Pavillion, The Royal Hotel Camden, Bankstown Sports Club, Camden Valley Inn, Parramatta Farmers Markets (hosted by the local council), Willo Parramatta… And many more!
