Russell Flannery
Russ has played in band’s his whole life and while with Satellite Reign, opened for acts such as Midnight Oil, the Whitlams, Diesel, the Bad Loves and Big Heavy Stuff.
Signing a deal with BMG, their first single was produced and recorded by Tim Whitten (powerfinger producer) at Sony music studios. Their second single “Come back again” was played on high rotation on Nova, Triple M and 2Day FM. A video clip was shot at ABC studios and can be seen on You Tube.
Regularaly playing bars and clubs for 15 years, Russ has developed an electric style to his acoustic performances. With a huge song list built from 15 years of gigging, Russ plays songs from all music genres…..pop, rock, country and Australian artists. Russ loves playing hits from Crowded House, Cold Play, the Killers, Elton John, and Johnny Cash. Playing with a big voice and smile, there’s nothing Russ loves to do more than to perform to an audience.
